Hello! I'm Robert Castleberry
The story of Asher Grey is deeply intertwined with my own life experiences. Growing up in Wichita, Kansas, I faced significant challenges, battling dyslexia and dysgraphia—barriers that kept me from fully reading until the fifth grade. It was in that pivotal year that I discovered a love for the fantasy genre, a spark that would ignite my passion for storytelling and my lifelong journey in education.
My academic path began at Butler Community College, where I earned an Associate of Science degree in 2014. I then pursued a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Wichita State University, graduating in 2016. Driven by a desire to make a lasting impact, I achieved a Master’s in Curriculum and Instructional Design with honors in 2019. In 2024, I proudly earned my Doctorate in Organizational Leadership K-12 from Grand Canyon University

About The Book
The Name of Grey (Asher Grey Chronicles)
Following the first Angel War, Lucifer is condemned to Hell but scatters his essence across the cosmos, planning his return. God, in his quest to create new celestial bodies, discovers a planet shrouded in shadows―Lucifer's lingering essence. To cleanse this planet, He creates light, thus beginning the eternal struggle between day and night.
God then creates the paradise of Eden, populating it with a variety of animals and, ultimately, Adam and Eve, who are devoid of angelic abilities to prevent another celestial conflict. However, Lucifer's schemes persist, leading to the planting of a forbidden tree within Eden. Adam and Eve, despite God's warnings, eventually encounter this tree, leading to their exile from Eden after a series of manipulative events by Lucifer.
After the Second Angel War, the descendants of these five great races establish a new world named Earth. However, darkness looms as Kobi, the son of the 666th generation of the race of Cain, seeks to harness Lucifer's power to bring about eternal darkness.
Central to this epic is Asher James McKnight, unaware of his extraordinary destiny and heritage. Asher is part of the five great races, destined to play a crucial role in the fate of humanity. His journey of self-discovery and the uncovering of his true identity are set against the backdrop of divine and infernal forces clashing, with the future of the world hanging in the balance.
